channel your outrage into SALES

Reader,

I feel really invigorated to share a message I don't see enough women entrepreneurs talking about:

Sales as activism.

Sales as resistance.

Sales as the antidote to what is going on in the world.

As Kamala Harris put it, "This is not a time to throw up our hands. This is a time to roll up our sleeves." πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

The problem, as I see it is this:

As women, we're playing too damn small.

Reader, money is power.

For good or for bad we live in a capitalist society and MONEY is the currency of power.

By playing small in business, you are giving your power away.

I am sick and f*cking tired of hearing women say that they don't want to charge for their work because they want to "help people".

It is this exact attitude that causes women to perpetuate the cycle of being oppressed and powerless in our society.

While women are conditioned that we should give our work away for free "out of the kindness of our hearts"...

...men receive no such conditioning.

This is not by accident.

This is by design.

You have a RESPONSIBILITY to make money if you want to change the world.

So if you woke up today and wondered, "What the hell can I do???" my first action for you is this:

STOP PLAYING SMALL AND START MAKING AS MUCH MONEY AS YOU CAN.

Charge good money for your work.

Pay good money to work with other women.

Here's a reel I posted today with this pep talk:

I love you.

And I want to be clear that this message is for you no matter who you are.

Because one of the lessons that hit me in the face today is how if people aren't making enough money they don't have the ability to worry about anything else.

Call me an optimist, but I just don't know any other way of being.

I refuse to give up.

Lots of love,

Courtney

Reader, This weekend I attended Alex Cattoni's Posse Fest Live. To be honest, I'm new to Alex's community. The big reason I said yes to attending this event is because it's local. No plane rides! Sleep in my own bed! Yay! I was excited to see a couple of my lovely bad ass online business friends who were speaking at the event who I hadn't seen since before the pandemic. Specifically, Jordan Gill and Vanessa Lau. I was excited to FINALLY meet Laura Belgray in person. But this event turned out...

In March 2023, I was in the middle of a launch for my high ticket coaching program, Yay for 100Kβ„’ when... ...I decided to cancel the launch 😲 Reader, this was simultaneously one of the hardest and easiest things I've ever done. Have you ever felt something in your bones? Something that didn't make a lot (if any) logical sense but that you KNEW you needed to do? That's what happened to me. Masterminding with some business friends in March 2023...I had no idea what I was in for! What I didn't...
